I am looking at buying a new case, but dunno what to get. So i want everyone's opinion on this :D

I was looking at getting this case :

Thermaltake VA3000BWA Tsunami Dream SuperMidi Aluminium Tower - Black (CA-010-TT)

Note :

It has to have a window :p

Antec Super Lanboy would be the best bet.

The Lian Li PC7+ also comes in under budget with the window.

The Thermaltake Soprano is a better case than the Tsunami, and most certainly comes in under budget.

What do you think to those three? :)

I like the Lanboy and the Soprano but are they good build quality ?? The case ive got atm scratch's way too easily and i really hate a marked case :o

And why is the Soprano better than the Tsunami ?? The Soprano looks cheap and flimsy

The Soprano is better because it is LESS cheap and flimsy than the Tsunami in my opintion, less features and more money on the actual build.

Super Lanboy is better than them both again, with the Lian Li better still.

The build quality on the Lian Li looks a lot better than the others but it doesnt look as nice

Btw thanks for your help mate. What fans would you recommend for the Soprano ?? I dont want my case to sound like a jet either :p but they have to look good :D

Depends what case and what is said though.

I mention the fans are dire if you want silence, I don't hide my dislike for the PC60 and PC767 at all...

Don't see what you are getting at there.

im saying its a good thing, and i meant the pc7+, not the "lian li's"

The Soprano isn't THAT good quality.
The little mechanisms you twist for the hard drive bays are plastic and snap really easily, they are poorly moulded.

I know because my mate bought one.

I'd go for the lian li everytime but thats just me.

I think it's fairly reasonable to say that you only really recommend the PC-7+ and the V-series.

You've expressed very open doubts about the value for money of the S80B and you're actively looking to buy an Eclipse. I'd say the therapy is coming along nicely :D

But seriously, I would say you are more driven by build quality than features and you're actually extremely conservative, with a small c, which is a very good thing in a case guru.

you would love a S80 just to try

Of course I want an S80B to play with - the day I dropped off the Sugo, I went out and bought the V1000B+, but if the S80B had been available, I would have had that instead.

It's just such a fantastic concept. Unfortunately I do think that like the V1000 and the V600, they are only going to get it fully right with the 'plus' version.

I agree completely with it needing a +.

Although, it is not like a v1000 / v1000+ where they are completely different, one dire one very good.

The S80 needs some slight changes before it truely gets into its stride of world domination, but it is fairly close and all that would be done is some slight tweaking.

I have a Thermaltake Soprano. I bought it as it was at the top end of my budget at the time. If I had £90 to spend on a case, there is no way, as in, HELL WOULD FREEZE OVER FIRST, I would buy one of these cases.

For 50ish notes the case is ok, has all the necessaries so to speak. But don't expect great build quality, dont expect fantastic acoustic performance and don't expect the best thermal performance. It really is the joe bloggs decent average case but with no outstanding features.

I've taken a hacksaw and a pair of bolt cutters to mine just to get some thermal improvements.

*Fondly remembers chucking the REALLY horrible tacky door into the Bin and watched it being machined to death by thr Binmen* *shudder* I really hated the door though.
