Apart from overheating, is there any way to fix it, I have a new solder iron and just successfully changed a few capacitors on a motherboard. So will it likely be the chip of some other component?
 
It looks like if I remove the AMD driver and just use the generic driver then no artifacts, I have tried 3 different AMD drivers though so what does that mean?
