I have a 24" dell st2421L
I have a problem where on some games... such as Need for Speed the run:... once the game loads only in multiplayer .. the screen goes black... if you minimise / maximise / press windows key or turn the monitor Off and on again... the display comes back.. it's random...sometimes it does it..others it wont.....
It used to do the exact same thing on need for speed hot pursuit ....but I played that on the PS3, not the PC.......
I've tried HDMI and DVI-D from both devices and it does the same thing,..
So I think i've eliminated the pc / ps3.... as It does the same thing on the Ps3....on hot pursuit and Socom 2.
So... it's either the monitor or just certain games i play........??? I've seen similar things happen before on T.V's in other peoples houses on my ps3....
I'm starting to think it is because the multiplayer game is capped at 30fps and my monitor and desktop / game refresh rate is at 60hz.. so it's trying to adjust the settings from 60hz to 30hz...????
Can someone explain why it does this? Very confusing....is there any fix?
