What causes this engine fault on Focus 2.0 TDCI?

Hi All

I have an '05 Focus 2.0 TDCI. Just recently every now and again immediately after I've started it, the engine won't rev properly. It just turns over, and if you put your foot down there is no additional response. Attempt to pull away and you'll stall. After two minutes or so, it will start to rev ok and will drive ok.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Any ideas what may be causing the problem?

Throttle position sensor IMO. Not hugely expensive.
