what causes this line on my comp

hi all i really dont know what to do know have d/l at least 10 lots of different drivers for my 6800gs

the prob is

my monitor when playing pes5 with vsync off gives a faint line going up the screen and its very irritating

what causes this is it drivers or the monitor

others i know with widscreen monitors dont suffer this

what can you recommend

monitor is a acer 1916w 19inch w/s

also what are the best drivers for my pci-e 6800gs

Do you mean a tearing effect?

Then turn v-sync back on.
