Ive just got the A+ and Server+ and i now want to get the MCSA 2003.

So which exam should i do:

70-270 (Windows XP, I already have the book)
70-620 (Vista)

I have experiance both personal and 5 years in the industry. umm what are your opinions?
"yes i know i should have done these sooner"

I'd go for the Vista one cause it's newer and XP will probably get phased out in the next few years. I'm not an expert though!

I was going to say!!

I am doing my MCSE. Have passed 70-290 and doing 291. Does anyone else find them easy peasy?

Is that the COMPTIA A+ and Server + you're talking about? I've been looking into those, and can't find anywhere local to me that does the training for them.

I did the XP one back when I did my MCSE and found it to be a little pita of an exam, got a heap of questions on the encrypting file system and such, it also expects you to do things in ways which no one ever would in real life. Not difficult but requires more thought than you'd think.

Those are the ones, Look on Prometrics and Pearson vue website. the Comptia ws with Pearson Vue.
Ive already booked the Vista exam so then only 2 more to go after that for a MCSA. I aim on getting the MCSA by July / August this year.

the A+ and server+ counts as the elective.

On a similar note, so to hijack, i completed my MCSA last summer, but only the 2000 version. Any ideas of how i would go about 'topping them up' to 2003 at all?

Thanks :) How much did they charge, if you don;t mind my asking?
