What charger for this LED egg lamp?

Hi all, bit of a random one this but hoping the brains of GD can help me procure the correct cable I need.

I have an LED light-up egg which has an integrated battery which is charged via USB or mains. Unfortunately I've misplaced the charging cable so can't charge it anymore so was wondering if any of you folk on here can help me identify a suitable cable to charge it up or just act as a mains power source for it.

The only thing I've got to go off is a picture of the jack fitting on the bottom and the actual egg itself, there are no markings on it for wattage/amps/volts or anything so im a bit stuck really with what to buy!!!

Any help massively appreciated!!!!

It's a barrel connector by the looks of it. Do you have any calipers / a ruler so you can measure it to figure out the right size? You can buy adapters which come with a load of tips if not. https://electronics.stackexchange.c...n-i-tell-the-size-of-a-barrel-power-connector

Do you know the manufacturer of it it?
Can you unscrew the base and take a photo of the internals which might provide more clues?

Might be worth getting a variable voltage main adaptor and starting with 3v and working up to ensure you don't overload the built in battery. They usually come with loads of fittings

It'll be a 5v supply if it can also be charged via USB.

If you can work out if it is 2.1mm or 2.5mm jack socket required you can pick up a simple USB to jack socket lead for a couple of quid. Plug this into any USB charger and you are done.

If you can't work it out just pick the bigger and if it is too loose you can buy a converter for another couple of quid.

Or just get the 2.5mm and the converter as at some point it'll come in handy as guaranteed whichever adaptor you have it'll be the wrong size.
