With a few on the market, anyone know what one is the best for the ST.

There is currently three options.

Superchips - Bluefin
Code:Red
& Dreamscience.

All around £500 quid for a 40BHP increase.

Not paying to ask on FFOC, but I know a few members on here have ST's do you have it chipped?

I think the dreamscience is the mos recommended, iirc you can re-use it 5 times, wheres with the others they can only be used once

Dreamscience I think looks the best option as I have been looking for ST220's. fact you can change the map for what you want depending on what you're driving and you can transfer over 5 cars makes it a great buy by the looks of it.

Get onto STOC the best ST (mk2) owners club out there.

DS and Bluefin are both very very good, problem is, the car is FWD, and in the wet it will struggle to get the power down, it does that as it is with 225bhp, ive driven a few of them with a decent power output, and lowering really helps as do Michelin pilot sport tyres.

I havent chipped mine, as the fuel economy is a bit iffy as it is, plus mines a Company car and im not sure how detectable the chip is.

Dreamscience!

Someone I know has recently had a map by Jamsport in Northampton and on a RR the other day made 280bhp with 360lb/ft torque!

My mate in a Megane R26 says it's in a different league to his car in straight line speed.

all of the 'chips' are programmable to enable the power to be put down. I.E. it will give you the power in stages and more power as you move up the gears.

Got a dreamscience for the RS; it's a great bit of kit. You get three maps as standard and can chop and change between them as you see fit, or flash back to standard if required. The nice thing about the DS is that once the car is back to the standard map you can sell the DS unit on: The bluefin needs to be "re-programmed" if you want to use it on a different car and you only get the one map.
