What clocks to expect?

I will be getting:

CPU: Core2duo E6600
Mobo: ASUS P5B
Cooler: Zalman CNPS9700 NT Tritium Super Aero cooler

Baring in mind i have never OC'd before, what kind of clocks should i be expecting from this, and does anybody have any helpful advice i could use? Thanks.

This as been asked 1000's of times and there is a massive thread on overclocking your mobo alone.

Depending on how lucky you are with the chip, the usual is around 3GHZ to on occasions 3.6. Usual is about 3.2 to 3.4 really.

Check my sig, that should be around yoour minimum clock as the E6600 have a higher success rate in getting over 3.2 iirc.
