That looks black, I do know someone got a blue one a couple months ago.

I renewed mine back in December, got a red one, 10 years, 50 pages.

EDIT - Found it

The people complaining about the quality of the blue passports and the print not being perfectly straight clearly haven't handled a new passport any time in the past year.

This isn't a new thing. I received a burgundy passport over a year ago and it has exactly the same issues. I'll try and get a pic of the front.

People still getting triggered by some paper and cardboard that they hold for about 10 minutes a year if they're fortunate, and get highly stressed about whatever colour it is.

Taste that sovereignty.

I don't care what colour it is. It's a passport, the colour is totally irrelevant.

If you voted Remain - red
If you voted Leave - blue

Considering we could have changed it at any point, I would say no, however this particular discussion is a graveyard of fallacy, so whatever. All the more funny that the final product is truly a fine spectacle of gaslighting, all it achieves is jeering from one side and either embarrassment or doubling down on the other. Sort of feels like a big joke at the public's expense, especially if the actual purpose was to engender division over something so fundamentally irrelevant, that would be the sort of cruel hypocrisy one should expect I suppose.

Thoroughly amusing.

The colour is clearly that of a bloodied stool sample.

Thread reminds me of the bit in Father Ted where they were talking about priests socks. "Most socks aren't black, they are a really, really, really dark shade of blue".
