What colour walls, magnolia or white?

Moving into a new house soon and get the choice of having the interior walls done in magnolia or white.

Currently got magnolia and it's ok, but thinking back to my folks last house they had white and it also looked ok.

Wife and I are not creative in the slightest and have no real desires to go painting walls fancy colours ourselves, we like things nice and simple (for now at least).

So which out the 2 would you choose?

I'd imagine magnolia is if you don't plan on decorating - but white is better for painting over when you can be bothered? No idea tho tbh.

White. Unless you like the old-fashioned (and not in a good sense) look. White is more versatile.

White will make the room look brighter but it will also show up dirty marks more easily, hence why people go mag walls white ceilings and get the best of both.

I choose white over magnolia as there is only me living in the house and I had to brighten it up a little bit! I have one room to complete but can't do it just yet.

Don,t like either for wall colours. Magnolia is old fashioned and boring and white is too cold and clinical.

I'd choose white for the ceilings and magnolia for the walls if they're the only choices on offer. White walls would get dirty pretty quickly, especially if you have kids.
