Hmm, same old stuff I guess then. Think I'll go with mayhems xt-1 this time, used x1 clear last time.
Using DP Ultra, as I have Aquacomputer kit and that's what their stuff is primarily calibrated around.
I could probably DIY some stuff for cheaper, as per their specifications, but I don't have the time to faff.
Just got to shop around.Finding anywhere with DP Ultra in stock is hard I'm finding. The only place I could find was German shops. Which would take 4 - 5 days to deliver when I could get XT-1 Nuke next day. Overclockers doesn't stock XT-1 Nuke clear premix or DP Ultra.
On their own forum, AC staff quite readily share both their DP Ultra compositional data and how to set up the calibration of their flow sensors for other fluids...That's why Aqua Computer wont share their data formula to input.
There's a big long product thread on there, plus others in German which you can read just by running the site through Google Translator.I must be blind. I'm looking on the English part of their forum and don't see High Flow Next 2 coolant topics...

"The second sensor in the list shows the current flow rate. The high flow NEXT comes with a set of predefined calibration curves for different hose diameters and coolants for very high accuracy. The flow rate can be displayed either in liters or gallons per hour, but if necessary, the flow rate can be calibrated manually".
So basicaly select your coolant from the list, add in other parameters like fitting diameter and that should be all you need for the HF Next. You can play with the offsets if you like, same as with the quality sensors, which is advisible if using EK fluids which tend to have highly conductive additives and higher glycol content (40% or more, I think).
I'm using EK Cryfuel indigo purple as it's a themed build. Seems to work well, but it's only been running for a few weeks
It's kinda spread out throught the conversation, really. Bits and pieces added as different people ask questions, and others follow that up with other questions. If it's long, link me please. Is it a sticky or buried deep in their forum?
Stopping the flow is usually done with a simple ball valve on hard tubing.Stopping the flow is rather hard with hard tubing. Sadly there are no presets for liquids, except Aqua Computer's own. Only conductive values to alter. If one knows the values.
