I have a coolermaster elite 430 and a FX6300 but will probably be changing to 4770k.
I was going to go water cooling then I saw a thread where a D5 pump failed and coolant went everywhere, so this has kind of put me off, I think lol.
Then there's AIO's as they are sealed they are less likely to leak I'm guessing? I really like this one

and with the nanofluids if it does leak would it do the same damage as others?
Or there's the big air coolers such as

If it will even fit in my case? But do they always cover a memory slot and sometimes even a PCI slot? Obviously with having to change the motherboard soon I have to consider this.
I suppose budget is somewhere between 50-150. Under 100 would be nice though

The 430 can support heatsinks up to 163mm in height, which rules out that Phanteks one.

It looks like an h100i in the roof might be blocked by motherboard heatsinks.

Personally I'd go for a heatsink over a 120mm AIO. This would fit, performs very well, and is quiet:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Noctua NH-D14 Dual Radiator CPU Cooler £65.99
Total : £75.89 (includes shipping : £8.25).

+1, this is one of the best air coolers

Ah great stuff thanks. I have read good things about that cooler was just the colour that put me off. The other one was the k2 doom I think.
Cheers for checking it for me much appreciated :)

Do they do it in a different colour?
Oh I'm not saying I can't go liquid just that I'm having second thoughts. As a heat sink can't pump liquid over your computer lol

No they dont do it in different colours, although you could change the fans. But the ones that are provided do work excellently. You could consider an All In One cooler such as the Corsair H100i if the size/look of a big heat sink puts you off but dont want to faff about with a full loop :)

Ok Cheers. So will this cover ram and pcie slots on most motherboards?

Yeah isn't it just, if it was either of them I'd get it.
Although covering the memory slot and possibly PCIe does put me off though
