Hi all!

Currently have one of these cooling my E7500:

It's actually a pretty decent cooler for the money... Keeps it at 50-60 degrees when running WCG. But I'm very possibly going to upgrade to a high-end quad soon, so I'm going to be looking on a beefier cooler!

There's tons and tons of coolers in every price range. What's good at around £30? And should I try to stretch to around £40? (I probably can but would prefer not to). I've got a good deal on a QX9650, so I'm going to be cooling one of them at 4ghz or so :P

I know they don't run THAT hot, but what sort of cooler am I going to be looking at? I mean, I COULD just pick one, but I thought I'd try asking here first...

Thanks! :D

The Nero S is actually better performing than that model:

But this is pretty decent too... to be frank, i doubt you'll really see that much of a difference between the two. Sub £20 cooling nowadays is almost identical in design to £40 and above cooling, it's just little things that push the price up, and often don't get passed on to you. If you really feel you need to upgrade then:

Cheers for the suggestion. Looked up some reviews for that cooler, and it does seem decent. But it only looks around 5-8 degrees cooler than what I have now, so I might just keep it till I can afford a big upgrade to something awesome in the £50 range. (like a Megahalems or something sexy like that! :P)

Did want to give my TX3 to a friend to help him get a bit more power out of his aging E6xxx/8800 rig, but he might just have to wait a bit or pay himself :P
