I was contemplating AIO only for the looks aspect but then again I had an epiphany : "When I game do I look inside the case or on the screen"
Reliability of air against the risk of leaks or part failure on the AIO/CLC swayed my decision also.

Air cooling is cool and quiet as long as case is flowing air so CPU and GPU cooler fans are receiving air at or near room temp.
In case you are interested the link below is to basic guide to how airflow works and how to optimize case airflow. A couple good 140mm pressure rated intake fans (1.3-1.5mmH2o @ 1300-1600rpm) in front and PCIe slot covers removed and systems almost always run cool and quiet.
