hi guys,

what cpu coolers are you using for your sugo evo's, i have been looking around and as there is only 78mm to play with the market is pretty limited to stock hsf or the NT-06 lite. can you post the cooler, idle/load temps and cpu.

cheers

Zalman CNPS8000.

It cools my E6600 to 20C idle, 40C load (in a moderatly cool room) yet it's totally silent.

Comes with a switch to turn the fan up, but you don't tend to get much better performance by doing so and it makes it really quite loud.

Can't recommend it enough really.

Zalman CNPS7000B-CU Ultra-Quiet CPU Cooler with Blue LED
Idles 37 , load (Heavy gaming) around 50. I had to buy a separate zalman bracket for a couple of squid to to fit this cooler. Chips a [email protected]

Also had the same cooler as tute (Zalman CNPS8000) Which did a very good job of cooling my old FX-62.

cheers guys, been looking at the CNPS8000 looks quite good only thing i thought of is that, does it conflict with the psu as they are both trying to draw air from the same area if u know what i mean. also anychance of getting some bigger pics of the inside of your sugos, im going to be building myself a small system and wondered if its to cramed inside.

i'd also recommend the Zalman coolers - they really are great. I've got a 7000 on my overclocked Opteron in my Antec Aria case and it maxes out at 48 degrees full load.

If you're concerned about the fans competing for air you could get one of the Silverstone coolers. The NT03 or NT06 Lite are great in Sugos. The NT06 Lite is passive and uses the PSU's 120mm fan to draw air over it. The temperatures may be slightly higher than with a Zalman 8000 though.

The Asrock boards great and rock solid, benched my system when i swapped the cpu and mobo and only gained a few hundred points in 3Dmark with the x1900xt.

Think the AMD chip would have held the system back with a g80 gpu in there tho.
Gained about 50% now in 3Dmark with current setup and theres still room to clock the cpu higher with the release of better clocking boards :)
