I’m going to replace the splitter cable which came with my 4070S GPU and I have a Corsair RM1000X power supply, can someone please tell me which cable I need? I think I need a type 4?

I’ve had a look and can see a 600W PCIE5 cable, is that the one?

Take a look at the PSU and it will have a "Type X" printed on it next to the sockets. 99% of all PSU's are a Type 4, but some new ones are Type 5, so you need to check.

But yes, you need a Corsair Premium 600W PCIe 5.0 12VHPWR Type 4 or Type 5, whichever matches your PSU.

I would strongly suggest you get the premium cable. It's only £5 dearer but is a far superior cable.

And yes, its a solid purchase. The cables are well worth the money.

Thanks, so I could get the dual type cable which has two connectors to go into the psu and the other straight into the video card?
