i got a palit gtx465 and its seems to only work in safe mode ok. I've done a fresh install of windows but still bluescreens at splash screen not even got to install drivers and bios flashed to see if its a corrupted bios.
 
Do you have a different GFX card you could try...

Or check your bios settings for SATA, had a few Dells that did not like ACHI mode...Last saw it over a year ago...
