As above, recently done a format and reinstall of windows 10 (not my 1st time) however now when i turn my pc on everything loads as it should, but during the load process my monitor turns black and goes into sleep mode telling me its not getting a dp signal, i press reset on the pc and it boots up fine and dandy?

mobo msi tomahawk b450 max
cpu ryzen 5 3600
gpu amd rx 5700xt pulse

cheers

You could try using a different driver, or cycle the monitor ports instead of a reset?

One of my PCs does this and I just cycle the ports with the monitor buttons and the login screen comes back.

Is there anything in event viewer?

Try tetras's suggestions I get a similar problem with mine very seldomly, if I turn the monitor off and on or cycle the inputs I get my picture back.

event viewer says its critical
Critical 3/5/2022 12:02:45 AM Kernel-Power 41 (63)
The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.
now i have never lost power, i did have a crash today blue screen but the computer gathered its info and rebooted and later on it was shut down correctly, not really sure where to go now??

That's probably just from when you press the reset button when the screen is blank.
