ok i have an old case and i stripped it today, so i was thinking i could maybe mod it a bit, put a new front on it and cut it up a bit lol.

the only thing is what would i do with the front? i can't just cut it up cause it's got a load of rivets in it and well they hold it together, i guess i would have to make a cover to go over it, but how?

here's some pics:

this will probably end up being something i start and never finish but we'll see.

any suggestions?

EDIT:
marks on the front of case in pencil are the outline of where i could fit 2x120mm fans possibly

the rivets that hold it together are round the sides, those ones on the front are for the bays so if you were to use mdf, you could screw them in or any other material you could create your front and replace the rivets before you attach it to the old front! easy eh?
just noticed you have 7 fan spaces already!!?
come on though get cracking and more pics!!! :p

i i'll think about it a bit more lol
i'll see what i can do, pitty i can't fit a 120mm fan at the back :(

lol.

awk i just don't know what i'd do about the front, i'd like to make it out of aluminium or something but would have no idea how to attach it. i would prefer to hide screws etc.

no one got any suggestions? i could use wood but meh

you could mod the top of it, change it from 80mm to 120mm ? or even ave 2?
yea that's what i said earlier, think i could get 2x120mm fans on the front, but i need another cover on the front to cover up the other holes and **** unless i can fill them in somehow with something....is that possible? like some sort of filler i could cover the front in and paint over?

erm, i probally would say car filler, i 4 gotten what its called :(
put you got this wire mesh and you put this filler over it, and it puts things back together, but the filler will block the holes, if that makes sense?
