I need to RMA my HZ27WC, any recommendations for who I should use? I'm not really too worried about it getting damaged, seems pretty secure in it's original packaging.

I asked what courier they would recommend and they said parcel force would be fine and to make sure I get insurance. I then told them parcel force doesn't cover items that contain glass and I was told that they don't know and I would have to research the best courier myself :(

I had a few problems posting a monitor I had sold.
all of the couriers would insure for loss but not damage.

Confirmed everything ith PO and sent using them as they stated they would insure for loss or damage.

Well as long as it was insured for loss I wouldn't be too worried.

Why am I expected to spend £30+ on returning an item that was received faulty >:C

I'm asking if they can arrange the pickup.

And what if it gets damaged?

If it arrives with a smashed screen your RMA will be refused.

The retailer should refund you for the cost of returning the monitor if it's faulty.

Well I think someone would literally have to jump on the box to break the screen. I will look into whether the post office will cover it though. I wasn't sure if they refunded the postage cost or not, I can't see anywhere that says they do.

I will have to check with my manager about what to do for you.

probably best to give us a call RMA/Support just after 9 am tomorrow(we have a morning meeting before 9 am on a Wednesday)

spoken to my manager and as it is faulty and due to the shipping costs you would incurr we will arrange for the collection, just need a day from you that is most suitable (this is where the Customer service forums are more usefull as i don't expect you to disclose personal information on the public section of the forums.)

So If you could raise a Customer service Forum post,

http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=119

since only you and us can see it we can include personal information.

Just tell us a pickup address and the best day for you (Monday to Friday)

I can set a collection time (morning/afternoon) but i can't be any more specific than that i am afraid.
