What cpu can I upgrade my Ryzen 7 1800x to?

Hi there,

I have an asus prime x370 pro, feel like upgrading my CPU, I have 2 1080gtx ti's in SLI but read that my CPU is bottlenecking it.

Can I upgrade the cpu to a Ryzen 9 3900x processor? Will I notice a significant upgrade in fps, system performance running at 4k?

Personally I would sell one of your 1080 ti's and buy a new motherboard, as sli is next to useless now.
