What CPU for gaming?

hey guys,

due to (i think) My FX8350 bottlenecking my 1070, I'm looking to move over to intel for my gaming.

can someone please advise me on the best CPU for around £120, this includes used ones that can be bought on the bay too. preferably new, and from OCUK.

its a sole gaming machine, apart from spotify and some web browsing.

how is the i5 3570k as a CPU? Would that be a significant upgrade for gaming from the 8350?

hey guys,

thanks for all the responses. would a good option be upgrading to the i3 6100 with some ddr4 ram and a decent mobo, then upgrading the CPU to a 6500-6600 when i have saved some money so that it doesn't break the bank as i will have already upgraded the mobo and ram to what spec i want?

i might be able to stretch my budget a bit, I'm not fussed about overclocking the CPU desperately. So how would a i5 6400 hold up as a long term solution?
