Got an Inspiron 1300 Dell lappy with a celeron 1.6 cpu
am having trouble finding out what socket it is so that i can put a faster pentium cpu in it
i have tried the thingy on the intel site and it gives me a choice of 2
either 478 or 479
anyone with said lappy tell me which socket it is please?or how i can find out for sure?
I know i could pop out the cpu and count pins but.......all of them.....was that 476 or 4777,bugger i lost count
