what cpu for my mobo ?

i just bought this mobo :-

Asus M4A785D-M Pro AMD 785G (Socket AM3) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

i'm going to be using new build for blu ray / hd dvd mostly with the odd bit of light gaming ... mostly old titles

this mobo takes a wise selection of cpu ... so should i go dual / tri or quad cpu ?

i dont want to spent crazy money , but want to make sure i have enough grunt

any advice woudl be great

lol spooky i was look at that i think quad is probably overkill , but tri migth be abit better

hmm well i dont want any heat issues ... this mwedia centre will have to last me a good few years .. my days of uprageds every 12 months are well over

well gaming wont be my top priority .. thats why i picked this particular board as its got the most up to date onboard graphics

lol i might have got it if i had the cash ... but a new girlfriend is makign me hold out on the readies so its going to have to wait a month .

it might be a good cpu but thats abit more cash than i envisaged paying... was looking at £100 max ... but we will see whats available then ... but good to know my options
