what cpu & gfx?

Hey, i got a budget of about £250 to spend on a cpu (intel) and gfx card and was wonderin what would be a good combo for gaming on a 19" or 24" ( i have both...) thanks for any advice, much appreciated.

And RAM/PSU?

abit ip35 pro, 2gb ballistix 6400, antec quattro 850

what res you game at?
although i'd go for:

8800 GT 512
2180 CPU

should get for just under £250 at the mo.

or for a bit more an E2180, both clock easy to 3ghz+ on decent cooling
