Hi,
Just picked up a Shuttle XPC SP35P2 cheap, I read these are ok clockers for a Shuttle/SFF.

I'm looking at Intel E8500 or should I save £20 and buy the E8400 instead?

I had some Corsair Dominator 2x2GB PC8500 in the past and they were very good, Should I go the Corsairs again or will the cheaper Kingston HyperX PC8500 do?

Its going to be a gaming rig, I'm hoping to reach 4GHz in a Shuttle, is that asking too much?

Thanks for all the help in advance.

Thanks for the pointers.

Fair enough, I'll go for the E8400 + Kingstons, I think the cooling in the Shuttle is limited, unlike full size mobos + case. I doubt I could push the RAM and CPU to the limited, so might aswell go cheapest option.

I have a X38 mobo + Q6600, but sold it and bought a laptop until the i7 stuff drops in price, but got the Shuttle for £55, So kinda want to have it built cheaply.

Cheers,
Korduo
