What cpu will last longer? (Advice Needed)

So i'm looking to build a new computuer i currently use the 3570k which i have had for 5 years now, So as you can see im not a person who upgrades every year

So im debating do i go for a Ryzen cpu or the Coffee lake cpus what one would last me at least 4-5 years gaming in 1080p 60 fps or higher paired with a gtx 1070

I know someone might say with Ryzen you can upgrade without having to buy a new mobo but if i was to buy ryzen i most likely wouldnt upgrade to ryzen 2 unless the ryzen 2 where priced very well and selling my cpu could get like half the money or close to it

I just game in 1080p
But i do multitask but not like editing just loads of tabs etc

So i just need advice what will last me the longest time and is more future proof

The one with more threads because very soon users will begin hitting very hard the threads count bottleneck.
