Do abit of everything on my pc and thinking of an upgrade build
currently i have a ryzen5 3600.

i am looking a 2 paths intel and ryzen for the cpu

i5 11400f against the ryzen7 5800x if i went the intel route i could save myself £200ish

what path would you take and why?

The 11400F seems to be around £210-220. £420 for a 5800X seems expensive.

£140 is the price i have for the 11400f and £400 for the ryzen7 5800x

A quick look and the 5800X is available for a lot less and the 11400F a lot more.

no new from another place, not amazon or ebay

Why? What's wrong with the Ryzen 5 3600?

nothing at all, just looking to build another machine got that itch

5800X often come up at around £300 mark these days. Watch out for codes and discounts etc

10400f is currently £140 seen it as low as £120.

but two different CPUs. 6core vc 8core.

5600x can be had for around £200 which is probably more comparable to 10400F. And it is a direct in socket upgrade so a lot less cost and faff involved

its the 11400f i am looking at NOT the 10400f its the 11400f i have got in a basket for £140, just not pressed buy yet.
