Not knowing what it would do, I closed my eyes when I pressed play first time and waited. Nothing at all, just silence in my ear phones.

Opened my eyes and I start to get more of a sense of the thuds.

Really interesting.
I kind of hear it but it's not so much audible.

Obviously the brain filling in the gaps like it has to so you don't have to process every bit of information. Also kind of instinct.

But I don't know if it shows a more developed mind to 'hear' it or see the facts and not!.. Controversial! :p

It's because the screen shakes. Your mind is filling in the blanks. You are expecting to hear a sound and so your brain is telling you that there "should" be a sound and you sense it.

I don't hear a sound at all but I do get the sensation that I should be hearing something because of the screen shakes.

Anyone that can hear something that has no sounds, must have some sort of mental health problem :p

Apparently, people with an IQ over 10 "sense" the thuds as their brain fills in the gaps of what should be there.

People with an IQ under 10 are inherrently stupid, and therefore will "hear" nothing

call me crazy but i don't hear pictures ?!?!

I automatically imagine the thudding sound when it lands, and I imagine the swish and slap of the cables as they move and hit the ground. However, I don't physically hear anything.

I imagine the sound, and I do it on every iteration completely involuntary.

^This, can't stop doing it even if humming a tune or something I still "hear" it.

The vibration effect makes me feel a bit odd as well, strange.
