What date for the Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe?

Haven't seen any around yet nor heard of any release dates. I wouldn't be surprised to find that it supports RAM OC like the Z68 boards so 2133MHz but that is pure speculation too.

The manual is up at Asus now

By google the few places around the world on pre-order have a price between the V and V-Pro which means about £150 here I'm afraid.

I know it's not the Asus, but the Asrock Z77 ITX is now for sale in the USA, pretty good price, at under $150USD or about $100USD cheaper than the pre-sale prices of the Asus Z77 ITX

One concern I do have is finding a low-profile cooler. There are pictures around with large tower models but of course these won't fit inside a SUGO type case.

I think the cooler pictured here http://vr-zone.com/articles/asus-p8z77-i-deluxe-review-redefining-the-itx-gaming-pc/15357-5.html is a Coolermaster Gemini M4, but I assume this isn't the best available.

The Noctua site compatability list for the NH-L12 doesn't list the P8Z77-i one way or the other and their support department says "Unfortunately it's too close to tell from pictures alone if the NH-L12 will have compatibility issues or not, due to the VRM sitting on a separate PCB. We are currently working together with Asus to check compatibility but at the moment we are waiting feedback from them." I suspect the Noctua wil fit but only with the single 92mm fan in a SUGO which is not ideal.

The other possible options, but with the same concerns about interfering with DRAMs or the VRM, are the Samuel 7 or Scythe Shuriken or preferably Big Shurken.

However, this article http://www.hitechlegion.com/reviews/motherboards/18492?start=26 said "The other issue is the stand-up VRM board, as it prevented me from using two of the top low profile coolers on the market" without actually naming them.

Thing is the Asrock does not have the VRM daughter board like the Asus. Personally, would rather have the Asus for my next non-HTPC Mini-ITX build. Looks like one awesome little mobo.

Yes it looks awesome but being objective for a moment I wouldn't be able to quantify what benefits it will actually bring over onboard VRM, assuming the Asus ever goes on sale here that is. After all Ivy needs less juice and I'd rather under volt/clock 24/7 even though I've bought a K i5. The phase-count-wars will be put to rest completely next year.

8+2 phases on the Asus. 6+2 phases on the Asrock.
They both clock the same from what I've been reading over the last few weeks.
Those extra phases aren't making the Asus magically better.

15 second cold boot time on the Asrock, 25 second cold boot time on the Asus. (ssd ofc)

I know where my money is going this round, and it's not the Asus.

You can underclock / undervolt an H77 board mate, no need to buy Z77 if that's all you plan to do with it.
