What Db at min speed with a fan controler

Looking at these on OCUK's site,
Delta 120mm Focussed Flow Fan (EHE) (FG-003-DE) 59Db

Does anyone know as a rough guess what Db or how loud this would be when controled through a vantec dial type fan controler?

The idea being i can put them upto full when i aint in the room

Or any other suggestions on the best cpu 120mm fan thats out atm..

You might want to put them up to full when you ain't in the street,never mind the room

I had one of these, and couldn't find a controller powerful enough. I ended up doing a 12v/7v switch, and even on 7v it wasn't quiet! It moves a monstrous 196cfm :eek:

Then I got a XP90c and I now have a quiet Zalaman 92mm fan on it

I've used fans around 40dB, and I could hear my PC on the other side of the house, all doors shut, with brickwork inbetween each room. Too loud for a server 24/7 use.

You want to get fans with good oompf at 12V that undervolt smoothly.
