I currently have b&w 603 floorstanding speakers and a Nad c380 amplifier connected to my computer in second bedroom.
The computer has a Xonar essense st soundcard which I use to play mainly 320Kbps encoded tracks and FLAC tracks (stupidly binned my CD collection years ago due to space)
If I wanted to move my speakers and amp to my living room for music listening, i would presumably need an audio source and what else? A DAC a rasberry Pi im not really sure. I dont want to stick my pc in the living room because I do occasionally game and dont want the whole pc, 34” monitor etc. All in my living room.
I would then get some smaller powered speakers for the second room to save some space
