Hi All

On my way home from work a charming fellow got out of his car and knocked on my window to tell me to "Use my indicators *Fully star out swearing please!*!" whilst I was waiting for the traffic lights to change.

This is a bit of an unusual way of giving someone advice but hey-ho. Anyway heres a picture below I was where the blue car is waiting for the lights to change and the charming gentleman was in the lane to the left. I didnt indicate here because the road splits

Really struggling to see where I went wrong I came off the M62 (Indicated to leave motorway indicated fully on the roundabout afterwards the junction after that you could only go one way in the lane so no indication I thought was required) and that gets me to this point.

This is the second time I have been confronted by a nut-case driving (First time during a lesson someone blocked the learner car and threatened us with a bat!)

Just as I was beginning to get a bit of confidence something like this happens.

Nope the lane splits so it was a case of just going forward.
I noticed the car shoot up behind me and tailgate for a bit when I joined the road. I was going the limit which must have been too slow

Get out of the car and ask the guy to explain more thoroughly next time?

Hopefully there won't be a next time. He didn't seem like a rational person who wanted to offer constructive criticism after the first time when I was learning it's safer to stay in the car.

Checked my lights and they are all fine.
I'll put it down to him being a nutcase Guess there's a lot of looneys on the road.

It probably happened about 10 miles back and he's been following you ever since in a road rage.

You probably changed lanes on the M62 and forgot to indicate or something.

I had something similar once coming off the M4. Some brummie plonker in a green micra starting spouting off asking "if I always drive that way" I said yes and drove off.

I may have caught his foot as I drove away....

As far as im aware - there is no law requirement to use indicators?..Its polite and helpful but thats all. To demand you use them as per original post - i would have told him right where to go. Although from the pic - i too cant see where you were meant to indicate? Hey ho..

I would have indicated that I was about to run him over if he didn't wind his neck in.

Can we have the actual google map link so we can street view the road before the lights>

In theory I think its far worse when you don't know what you've done to really annoy other ppl

In theory.

As a new driver the point of the thread was incase I had missed something that might be obvious to everyone else.

I really don't see how asking for advice makes me an utter spastic because I cannot see what I did wrong.
