Well im 18 in a few days time, I dont have anything planned for it at all so ive come to here to look for some ideas.
I dont want a Big **** Up type party thing because i dont like them :)

So what did you do for 18th?
 
Went to town and got drunk the day before, went for a meal, then onto a strip club and then night club on the actual day, and went out with the gf the day after ;)
 
I went to skegness, Had a meal at Eptons, Played crazy pirate golf, and pwned a few people on air hockey!
 
Most of my friends were still 17 so it was a bit difficult, but I went to a pub where a friend was working. I hadn't had anything to eat that day except a chocolate muffin my friend gave me as a present on the way to the pub :p

Urm yes, spent the evening in the pub consuming every drink under the sun. My friend behind the bar brought over free wine and random cocktails while my friends were 'topping up' my other drinks with JD or something (can't remember). Anyway, the net result was that I spent a good hour throwing up, only to be dragged out and marched home with my friends at closing time. It is the only time I've ever been too drunk to walk by myself! Ofcourse I was still intermitedly throwing up all the way home, you could've have followed the path :o

All I remember is booze, being sick, serious stomach pains and the worst hangover of my life. :p

You know, thinking about it, I actually think I might have had alcohol poisoning... meh. One time in your life, eh? ;)
 
I'll be 18 on thursday ;)

If weather is good i'm having a BBQ down the beach :D

Going up to Hemel next weekend for dinner with family and my girlfriend :)

[edit] When friends get back from holidays i'll be for a meal with them, then going clubbing with them. Sort of a last thing before they go to University and birthday thing though.

Me neither, I always keep it quite quiet :o

I think my 19th involved a meal with parents and a friend then met some other friends for a quiet one down the pub. My 20th involved going out for about two hours with the few quid I had and then getting attacked by a psychopathic flatmate weilding a knife :p

Birthdays - meh! You shouldn't expect anyone else to give a crap after you've turned eleven :) All I've ever wanted was my closest friends and family to wish my a happy birthday and I'm happy :)
 
Nothing huge as far as I recall, I think it was at the annual family camping trip so just had a few drinks and lots of food with the family. More or less what has happened every year for the past 5 or so, the fact that it was my birthday makes next to no difference to what happens which is just fine by me. It is just nice to see all the family :)
 
18th - myself and some close friends bought a few crates of beers and proceeded to demolish them along with a load of pizza. Also had a family meal with my parents and my sister a couple of days later.

21st on the other hand - all the family who were in this country descended on Coventry, stopped in a hotel. We went out for a big meal on the evening, and I seem to recall wandering through Cov at 2am (after seeing them back to the hotel) while being rather drunk. Got back to Uni digs, and my flatmates surprised me with more beers. Went to bed at 6am, got up at 8.30am and started drinking again at lunchtime.....my body was protesting the abuse for a little while.
 
I honestly can't remember so I guess that means it was either very bad... or very good :D.
