What did you do in 2010?

Lost quite an incredible girl
Went on holiday with said girl
Wasted a lot of the summer holidays doing nothing productive because of stupid work
Started to play basketball again
Made a load of great new friends
Realised I still have no idea what to do after uni


Overall not a very good year, made a lot of mistakes and not taken any opportunities that have come my way and I'm paying for it now, a lot of regrets.

Oh hell no! They only do that kind of thing if you have the relative symptoms! I just fancied getting it done so that I knew all was ok, like a sexual health check I suppose, not sure why as I had no particular reason it was just playing on my mind for a good couple of years and I eventually manned up and got it done, all was well and it wasnt bugging me anymore

As for the debt thing, its a great feeling but took a lot of hard work and staying in when everyone else was out getting drunk etc, I didnt have a car and didnt make any extravagent purchases at all
 
Absolutely nothing and its annoyed me no end

I had a few plans, do some traveling, find a new job etc..

None of it has happened, instead drifted through the year getting no where but 2011 im pulling my finger out.
More active job search, start OU course and book Thailand trip!
 
First time going skiing staying in a chalet
Made redundant
Got a new job I enjoy a lot more than the old one with better pay
Saved (a bit) of money
Been on some epic nights out
Leeds festival (first one ive ever been to)
 
I bought my ex out of our house. Best decision ever. :D

Got involved with someone else, got led right up the garden path, got dumped, got over it.

Had the best holiday I've ever had with friends in Cyprus.

I went for a dip under ice in a scotish loch.
 
Observed the Presidential elections in Guinea and Côte d'Ivoire and decided what I want out of my next relationship and that I'm in no rush to get into the next one. And pretty much wiped out my £3k overdraft.

Gained a small promotion at work. More money, less work and more responsibility. Have a lot of European travel coming up in said job in February.
Finally came round to rendering my new house built.
Went on 3 long holidays and 5 short breaks.
Got a new car
Bought various things for the house, too numerous to mention here.
Got some new additions to my international vodka collection.
Saved quite a handsome amount of money, amongst all this spending and recession talks.
Few more things I can't think of now.

All and all, a good year.
