Been remembering about my lunch earlier and then it brought me back to a year ago today and seeing what everyone else had for Christmas lunch.

My mum, yet again, rustled up some of the finest grub I've ever had the pleasure of eating. Turkey, chipolatas wrapped in bacon (not cocktail sausages), stuffing wrapped in bacon, roast potatoes, carrots, sweed, celeriac, nut roast, gravy and I'm sure there was more stuff, I'm just too tired to remember. :p

What did you have then?

I had a slice of gammon with english mustard and a turkey leg with home made cranberry jelly. Some pigs in blankets and some crusty bread. Washed down with some strong dry cider.

I had the main meal yesterday :)

Few slices of turkey, a few slices of Goose, some carrots.

Mash potato, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, red cabbage, sprouts, pigs in blankets.

Was very nice :)

- Herb buttered turkey, stuffed with oranges, onions, thyme and bay leaves; with citrus breadcrumbs.
- Accompanied by Devils on horseback, pigs in blankets, honey glazed carrots, parsnips, sauteed sprouts with almonds, roast potatoes.
- Served with white-wine pan gravy and homemade cranberry sauce.

I like cooking! :D

Here its dumped on a plate:

Mrs put in the chicken in the oven only to shout me through an hour later saying it wasn't very cooked looking....

She'd turned the grill on instead of the oven....

Turkey, roast taters, carrots, sprouts, yorkshire puddings, onion rings in breadcrumbs, sage and onion stuffing, bisto. Followed by a chocolate trifal and im still stuffed.

My mum is officially the most awesome mum in the world.

The starter was cheese soufflé with rocket and pomegranate.

Main Course was Turkey with chestnut and apricot stuffing, roast potatoes and turnips, red cabbage with berries, sprouts, pigs in blankets and a mushroom with cherry and chestnut in puff pastry main thing for my veggie girlfriend.

Pudding was christmas cake, pudding and pavlova,

Cheese course was awesome.

Coffee was awesome.

Did I mention my mum was awesome?

roast chicken, roast potatoes, carrots, gravy, salad, cake, ice cream, jelly, cranberry sauce, apple pie, custard.

I ate soo much in one sitting I still feel guilty 10 hours later.

turkey, pigs in t3h blanket, stuffing, something that looked like a meatball, potato's, parsnips, carrots, sprouts, grrrrrravy followed by too much toblerone to the point where i was almost sick :o

Was supposed to have a nice Xmas lunch, but I woke up with a killer migraine and spent the morning with my head down the bog :( Recovered enough to manage a few crackers with some cheese for lunch. Then I was pretty much fine by dinner time - so we had the full meal then instead.

I hate migraines

Ugh, I'm with you there, mate. When I get them all activity stops.

We didn't do Christmas dinner today as my wife had to be at work at midnight (she just left).

We're going to do it tomorrow.
