What digicam for ~£110/120

Hey all, is for a friend, she wants a good digicam for about £120,£110, for general use, going on holiday with, usual etc, iv had a look around, there is just so many ! Main prioritys id guess would be (in my view) pic quality, lens speed/pic write speed (hate how 'cheap' cameras take an age take a photo), physical size (smaller, easier carry etc) and ease of use.

Any suggestions from you knowledgable lot would be great

A520 by Canon should fit the bill. A530 will be a bit faster, but also a bit more expensive, and slightly outside your budget - especially when you factor in the extras like memory, batteries, etc. Probably worth stretching the budget if you can, mind.

512mb kingston SD card -£9.34
4xaa Uniross 2300mah £5

maybe a couple of quid over £120 with a charger

Excellent deal. I had an A510 before I lost it and it took loads of great pics. I ordered the slightly improved (and more expensive) A530 this morning from a popular rainforest site
