What 'dirty tactics' was Vettel alluding to?

I thought he meant the other teams trying to get things on the redbull car banned. Which funnily enough is redbulls dirty trick.

I assumed he meant the rumors he had pre-signed for Ferrari which he possibly saw as Ferrari trying to create a rift between him and Red Bull?

I thought he meant their dirty trick to adjust ride height in parc ferme? Or making Mark pit to get out his way etc etc

Isn't dirty tactics all part of F1 through? Hardly breaking news to discover teams were trying all they could to beat each other, is it?

I think he was alluding to all sorts of minor things - even like teams praying for rain so the rbr would be at a disadvantage - to which Vettel dispelled that idea anyway by saying the rain helped him in the Brazilian race.

"A lot of people tried to play dirty tricks", said the man whose team have been investigated for violating the technical regulations more often than every other team combined and who use a feeder team to influence race results.

How often did Red Bull actually break the regulations?

The only one I can think of is the adjusting of ride heights in parc ferme, and I'm not even sure of the full details of that one.

Edit: seems it was only a suspicion and they complied with the FIAs request, and were never found to have broken any regulations in parc ferme.

Tried to lie about why Seb stopped in qual at Abu Dhabi, got away with it only for FIA to find they did not have enough fuel.

Was their engine maps also not questioned by the FIA and they had to change them?

Squeeky clean at Red Bull though.

Hehehe. Yep.
The higher the ranking of the driver, the dirtier the tactic.

MSc used the dirtiest tactics (perhaps ever seen in F1) and Senna and Prost had no issues using underhanded methods to win titles or gain an advantage over their rivals.

But hey...that's what spices up F1. If everybody was sporting and adhered to the spirit of the game, it would get a little predictable and boring.

People in glass houses and all that. I suppose what you count as dirty but personally I think as long as is legal it isn't dirty and therefore there haven't been many dirty tactics just tactics. Some drivers I would pass it off as an off the cuff comment but Vettel always seems to have thought about what he is saying so who knows.

^ lol :)

Horner has mentioned it again - http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/104641 - but still isn't specific.

"Sebastian showed the true strength of his character because he has not got involved"

Should read:

"Sebastian showed he has a ridiculous amount of luck by smashing into someone on the first lap, not receiving a penalty, and miraculously not having any performance affecting damage"

Some other drivers had made a point publicly of deriding Vettel and suggesting he didn't deserve the title. Alonso said it was Newey they were fighting instead, etc. I think it was that sort of stuff. Gamesmanship or dirty tactics is open to debate really.
