What distro for an old laptop?

I have just found an old laptop lying about the house and want to install a linux distro to make it a bit snappier than using windows. Here is the spec:

HP Compaq NC6320
Intel Core Duo 1.86GHz
2Gb Ram

My first thought was Ubuntu but last time I used that it seemed quite bloated using Unity. Laptop will just be used for general browsing.

Just to update, went with Lubuntu and its working a treat
