What do BF3 clans do?

Maybe it's just the general dislike of the game in me, but I fail to see why anyone would play Battlefield 3 competitively 8v8. Seems like it might be fun if you could organise a 20v20+ match, but for 16 players why bother when you have CS.
 
Some clans are just a collective of friends who pay for a server together. Others are teams in eSports leagues, who play with predefined strategies and well rehearsed tactics.

Horses for courses. I get bored playing casually on bf3. Have to at least be on comms and in squad with a few others.

I must admit I had hoped that clans would play 20vs20 and have a leadership hierachy where the Clan boss gives orders to squad bosses and squad bosses direct their squads in accordance of the clan boss... they (the squad leaders) would have to have a seperate channel with a "ghost" in that channel so they can hear the clan leader and they could talk without other squads hearing

seems its nothing like this though... I have always hated Battlefield... the reason being that its just a complete mess online with everyone doing their own thing and never working together. I have also though there is great potential for organisation but I guess its neer been done

BF3 however I do actually enjoy, the combat is a bit closer quarters that it was in previous versions and people do seem to try and carry out the objectives in my experience

I very much doubt they work as a team because it scores more points. Thats just put there to try and encourage the average moron to work as a team (though all it really achieves is people trying to whore points via medkit/ammo if BC2 was anything to go by).

That's just laughably way off. It's a military based game, sure, but actually playing like that ? lol. Save that for ARMA coops tbh.

Also 20vs20 == pub game. 8v8 is way more tactical than just blobbing with numbers.

What do BF3 clans do?

Play BF 24/7, they are single/virgins and probs never had a girlfriend ever. They have tissue beside the PC and have porn sites bookmarked :)
