Hi

My wife recently upgraded to an iphone, but when this arrived it was faulty, so after a few hours on the phone to voda to sort it out, she finally managed to get them to send a brand new iphone, which she now has. She sent back her faulty phone.

Today, she has received the faulty iphone back as "repaired", so now we have 2 iphones.

Should we send it back or wait to see if they chase it up?

Didn't someone have this problem a while ago?

I thought a good piece of advice was to ask them for a postage paid envelope. If they don't send it, then keep it.

Yeah pretty sure the same thing happend to someone else. I would probably say nothing.

Hmmmmm decisions decisions.

I could do with a new phone and fancy using it now, but obviously would feel guilty not doing the "right" thing.

would be nice to keep but they will end up adding the value to your account, each phone sent out is recorded and linked to an account with IMEI. so you could expect £500 if its a iphone 3GS

You need to wait about 6 months then you can legally keep it for free I believe.

lol?

Is that like if you want to steal from work, move something to an unused cupboard and then if no-one notices after 6 months you can take it home and ebay it?

He hasnt stolen it, he has received an unsolicited gift.

He hasnt asked for 2 phones, but he should chase them up straight away for them to arrange collection of this unwanted item that he hasnt asked for.

i didn't say he had stolen, i was questioning the logic behind 'wait 6 months and it's yours'
