What do do? Vodafone sent another iphone.

Thanks for your input.

We have decided to let Voda know about the phone, so will have to see if they send a prepaid envelope or what ever action they decide to take. When my wife spoke to them, they said that they could see on their system that a phone was sent, presumably the original, so I'm not sure if both phones were accounted for.

Interesting about the the 6 month rule though, I will bare that in mide for future reference.

Well done, true human nature.

Unsolicited Goods
Goods sent to a person who has not requested them. The person receiving the goods does not have to pay for them. After 6 months the goods become the property of the person who received them. If the receiving party contacts the sender and asks for the goods to be picked up (and they are not), the receiving party becomes the owner of the goods after 30 days. Before the receiving party becomes the owner they must look after the goods and not dispose of them.

Back again.

Ok, phoned vodafone up a few months back to let them know I have another iphone, not heard anything since, so have decided to sell it.

Could they still block the phone at a later date? I want to sell it in the UK preferably and didnt want any come back from the purchaser if it was blocked at a later date. I did put my sim card in last night and dialled out no problems.

Well if they havent asked for it back then i guess its yours..saying that a yr ago i had no ends of problems with Voda..sent a phone back which they said they never received although i was sent a bag with all their return details on it....took me nearly 3 mths to sort it out as they wanted £500 for the phone...in the end they finally relented and knocked the charge off.

Vodafail for sure:p

Vodafone still owe me about £60 from 5 years ago. I chased it once a month for about 9-10 months then gave up. Each time I called they said that I would have a cheque within 28 days. That's why I could only call once a month.
