Atm i have a 400d with battery grip and an assortment of cheaper end lenses . I have always had canon since i moved to dslr's (300/350/400) and all secondhand .

I now feel its about time i have something abit better and new for a change and had my heart set on the 650d .

The trouble is im now doubting the choice and feel the 60d would be better but the old tech is worrying me so i am in limbo not knowing what to buy . I only have a limited budget . Would be buying a grey import and my choice of lenses would not stop me possibly making the move to Nikon .

I tend to do landscapes but do lots of things so need a choice of lenses . Video is not important but im sure will be used once or twice

So do i buy the 650? or the 60d or do i go to the dark side with Nikon and if so what body and lenses ?

Regards

Persil

I could probably go £600-650 . The 7d is just out of reach but the 7000 is smack bang in there . And would probably make 3-400 back on my Canon gear . But if i was to go to the dark side what lense/lenses . Atm i have 50mm 1.8 and 18-135is and a couple of superzooms and a cheap 12-30 tokina

hmm im probably more confused than ever.. Been checking and reading a lot about the 7000 and a lot of people had issues with back focusing .

Its also about the same age as the d60 and i feel as soon as i buy it they will bring out a 7100 lol .

I also know nothing about Nikon and there lenses but i feel i need to replace all my existing canon ones as there just to old to do the newer body justice .

i would love a mk2 but at 1k secondhand (i did mention i wanted new ) plus a decent lens that closer to £1500

I have maybe 1k to play with if i sell all my gear . The 7000 interests me but i dunno if i fancy Nikon. Mate has one so might need to pop down and have a play . Other than that i dont know if there is a Canon that is worth the upgrade unless i go secondhand
