seems that i have some spare cash and would like to add something to my games pc,
Motherboard is Asus P5K 1X16 pci e and 1X 8pci e lane with a e6600 cpu @3.1ghz, would i still get a big boost if i get a second 4870 1gig card.

Or should i upgrade my cpu ?

Thanks

second card wouldnt be worth it

i would personally spend the cash elsewhere

you could get your e6600 to 3.2 easy

would be a nice boost and save buying a new cpu

my old e6300 was more than enough for games tbh - i only got a quad for video work

you would be wasting your time getting a second card!! as your cpu would bottleneck them..

I had to clock my E8400 to 4ghz to stop both my cards being bottlenecked..

So as rjkoneill said OC ya cpu to 3.2Ghz and you will notice a differnece with just your one card.
