Right,

Currently I have my 17" tft monitor which is used for my mac mini and my pc.

I also have a 15" crt tv which i watch tv on.

I have all this on my desk.

I would like to combine my monitor and my tv in one, providing me with more space on my desk. Would like a 20"ish widescreen monitor

What should I do? Any recommendations?

Ive had a think, and so far, i think i have 3 options.

1. Get an LCD tv that can be used as a pc monitor
2. Get a bigger pc monitor and buy a tv card for pc/mac and watch tv through the pc (but that means that the pc/mac has to be on, which might be a bit of a pain at night when im in bed)
3. Get a bigger pc monitor and buy an external tv tuner box thing, that turns your pc monitor into a tv. This, i think, is my best option, BUT! I cant seem to find one, and would like to know what quality is like before I buy.

So, thats my thinking.

What do you all suggest?

Cheers in advance,

Edward

Probably go for option 2 myself. I had a 23" HDTV but didn't like the picture quality of my pc on it, too blurred imo. If I were you I'd wait and get a Dell 2405/7.

If you go option 3 buy a freeview box or something and a Dell or another monitor with Composite/S-Video/Component in and connect the box up that way rather than with SCART or RF, seems the best option really.
