Bit confused as to what i should do:(

I purchased a build from another forum which was quite high spec but the motherboard (Asus P8 P67 Pro R3) developed a fault which was RMA to the retailer. During this time i purchased another motherboad MSI GD53  and got this working and fine etc.

The retailer has confirmed the motherboard fault and would issue a direct replacement but they have none in stock. They have however offered to give the account holder credit (The original purchaser) or swap for a different item of the same or lower value.

The graphics card i have atm is the Asus GTX 550Ti and i was wondering whether its worth me to swap the motherboard for another run and run them as SLI etc?

I already have a SSD and 2TB HDD so cant see anything else that takes my fancy and a direct refund is not possible due to the product being purchased back in April 2011.

depends, if you take the credit for the mobo what you likely to get ?

quick look around looking for benchmarks and it seems the sli will work around the same as a 570gtx, so have a look for benchmarks on games you play and see what you think.
