What do i need for 3D BF3 gaming with ATI

Hello,
I’m going to buy these components to upgrade my old pc and I would like your help for few questions guys.
I like too much BF3, but my pc can not handle the game. I don’t have much time for gaming,but when I play I’m getting no fun with lag and low FPS.I need new PC.
I like AMD so I pick up those components, I can not afford to get all what I want now, but I would like to go for 3D BF3 gaming in future.For now im gonna get these, later on I may go for crossfire and i like Benq 2420T, but i dont know nothing about the 3D and what i need for it.The 3D glasses are using Nvidia, how i can do it with ATI i dont have idea.

2x WD green 2TB and 1xWD 250gb (all ready have the HDDs from my old pc)

My questions are:
What PSU I will need for single video and what will be for Crossfire?
Do single video card is going to be enough for 3D?Shell I get second video card before 3D monitor?
I don’t know how to calculate the watts?How much Watts is spending every each component?Specially the cooler.And I do have 2 fans on the case too.

If you don’t like something in the components that I pick up I will be happy to hear your opinion for a change.

For now i got buget around £550.

Oh god here we go again...........

DO NOT GET AN AMD PROCESSOR COMPUTER, BUY AN INTEL ONE....(i5)

And then just get the best ATI card you can afford...easy, i.e.... see how much money you have left and then get the ATI card closest to that amount.

Only AMD cpu you should get is a phenom ii x4 or x6 for around 50 quid if you can find one for that price. Otherwise get the i3 or i5 ivybridge.

i see you all like Intel, i will chek what i can pick but for shure will be more expensive to go for intel, that is the exapmle:

Intel Core i5-2550K 3.40GHz is £199
Buldozer fx-4 4.2 is £99

... any way, i do not want to go farder in that no more, i just need info about the other questions for PSU, i can not calculate the watts.Pls recomend a PSU for SLI or Crossfire.

And how can i run 3D with ATI video card?

Im confusing my self here, if i get one 3d monitor Benq 2420T+glasses, or any other 3d monitor, can i run it with ATI?Isn't the glasses works only with Nvidia? So let say just how can someone go for ATI video card for 3D gaming + 3D monitor, if someone can give me advice?

The FX4 matches an i3.

As for 3D, it works on AMD cards but not as well as Nvidia. Since you also have the Nvidia glasses it's best to use those instead.

A reliable 500w is enough for a single GPU system, 750w+ for dual cards.

Slightly over budget. Mobo is xfire compatable. Psu will be enough should you go xfire. You can always get a cooler later.

3D with amd you need to use a 3d party app for the 3D part.

Can't remember for the life of me what it was called someone will correct this post later with it though.

The 3D on it is very good and the 2D-3D conversion on it is very good aswell. Not seen it in 120Hz yet till my new card comes today.

bf3 in 3d is awful mate, don't do it!!!!

but nvidia gpu's will only work in 3d with nvidia 3d ready monitors (which you have to pay a premium price for)

amd gpu's will work with any 3d ready monitor along with 3rd party software like tridef. The software will come with the monitor.

I have the Samsung 27" 750 it uses tri-def drivers for 3d gameing and as mentioned it looks good in 3d but playing it in 3d your playing skills will drop!
It's just harder to play because of depth.

Do you use Tridef software for converting with that monitor from 2d to 3d or the monitor does the convering?The sutter glasses are coming with the monitor, right?

not entirly true.

Im running the samsung 700D using nvidia gpus and nvidia 3D just involves a few modifications.
