So I have a specific requirement. I play the MMO 'Eve Online' and currently have a single Dell U2515H (2560x1080) powered by a Radeon HD7870. My motherboard is a Gigabyte Z77-D3H with an Intel i5 3570 CPU (IIRC) and 8GB DDR3.
I want to buy at least one (and possibly two) further identical displays so I can control three ships at the same time, or have one ship displayed across three screens depending upon what I am doing. I shall be doing more of the former than the latter.
I wish to run the game at max settings on each of the two or three clients, with no framerate reduction.
How should I best go about this? Am I better off getting additional cards of the same type? Or getting more powerful cards of a newer type? Do I need more RAM on the MB? Or a faster CPU?
