Right. I know roughly what needs to be done. But. I'm 18 years old. Currenty riding a 2012 Sym XS125-K on a CBT. I know the regulations are changing in Janruary. So i want to pass my full bike test. I know that i can do this. Get any bike i want. Restrict it to 33hp, Then derestrict it after two years have passed. Just wanted to know if it'll be cheaper because i'm already on the road? If so. Can someone give me a rough price for me to do my full bike test?
Thanks in advance!

Bikers Cafe is probably best for this.

I did my full licence a year or so ago having never ridden before.

The company I used offer a 5 day DAS course (MOD1 - MOD2) (including bike hire you'll need to do it on a 500cc) for £550+VAT then add your test fees ontop. I can't remember if you need to do a theory before your CBT?

I think this is probably middle of the range pricing. It'll vary depending on the amount of tuition you're actually getting and how many days it spans over. They were very good so I was happy to pay a small premium.

I've RTM'ed it so it should get moved to BC.

Yes you need to do a Theory so get this done asap, Just book it local & practice online before you go.

I did mine earlier in the year so same as above but it cost me 500 quid. With my instructor you give him the 500 quid & that's it, If you pass it all first time then He gets a bonus & you walk away smiling, If you fail anything then he takes you for more lessons until you pass.
Where are you located as if local to me my instructor was Superb, Shouty but superb. :p

How long have you been riding?

If it's over 8months ish or you feel confident then I'd go in without any instructor training, just watching a few vids on YouTube (I say this a lot! :p) will help.
Theory and MOD 1 are easy if practiced.
MOD 2 is just remembering to do everything correctly really I suppose - lifesavers on all movements (lane change, coming off roundabout, speed changes) etc etc.

Theory: £31.00
MOD 1: £15.50
MOD 2: £75.00

I've been riding for about 4/5 months now. But i feel as confidant as i need to be. I'm out on the bike for most part of the day after work. Plus I've had a go at my dads Fireblade1000, Stupid, I know. But atleast i know i can handle it right?
